"LBJ's Medicare Calls: A C-SPAN Radio Special"
Note, you don't have to wait until Saturday, you can listen to the program at your convenience:

As Congress continues work on health care legislation, hear the comparisons to the 1965 Medicare bill when C-SPAN Radio airs a special program of President Johnson's 1964 and 1965 calls on the Medicare debate this Saturday at 3:30 pm ET. You値l hear LBJ plan strategy to win approval of the measure, with participants including his chief Congressional aide Larry O達rien; key members of Congress, including Senator Albert Gore Senior, father of the future vice president, and House Ways and Means Committee chairman Wilbur Mills; and pediatrician Benjamin Spock.

Throughout the program, historian David Shreve provides context and background for these conversations.

LBJ痴 calls about Medicare from 1964 and 1965 will air this Saturday at 3:30 pm ET on C-SPAN Radio, available in the Washington/Baltimore area at 90.1 FM; nationwide on XM Satellite Radio, channel 132; and on the web at c-spanradio.org.
