Clarence Page was quoting what David Gregory said today about what Obama was going to say.

And so on and so on.

speculate on TV?

to be a good General.

9. And their response, again...

Reporting 12:00 PDT. MSNBC reports that four caucuses -The Progressive Caucus, The Hispanic Caucus, The Asian Caucus, The Black Caucus had a conference call with the Prsident to communicate that they are in solidarity that health care reform MUST include a public option - they are invited to meet with the President before his Congressional Address.

11. Lurch (David Gregory) talked about that this morning on the Today show
Lurch said that Obama wants Congress to pass and concentrate on important parts of the bill that don't include the public option (such as not letting insurance companies discriminate against those that have pre-existing conditions) but he was not going to drop the public option. He mentioned Obama wanting them to be good soldiers in the reference to passing on the other things in the bill besides the p.o. But who knows? the media speculation is driving me crazy.

32. There are a couple things that can pass very easily
Like the pre-existing conditions thing. That would immediately help, and he wouldn't abandon the PO. But don't pass mandates until the public option gets through - the insurance companies would be mad, and that's a good thing.

16. Agreed. It would be consistent with the spineless waffling
We have been served by this White House in recent weeks/months.

I hope that progressives will defy this sell-out, even if it means no legislation.

Time to stop this endless betrayal of the American people to the predator class.

Not saying that's what this statement is about, but it's not like the saying is insidious or anything.

22. There's a lot of un-sourced and unreliable information about health care reform
And it all seems to coincide with Drudge and other MSM mediaWhores declaring the public option dead earlier this week.

Lets wait and see what Obama says on Wednesday.

31. The President is not a miracle worker and cannot change the MSM because he has the "bully pulpit"
That is pure fantasy.

The corporate-owned MSM mediaWhores would love nothing more than to kill health care reform. Just look at how they fail to debunk the lies about death panels and killing grandmothers.

They have an agenda and it's going to be tough for Obama to get his proposals through the MSM filter.
