If I find out Tuesday morning that Obama's address is not being shown in my son's class... |

Edited on Sat Sep-05-09 05:13 PM by S_E_Fudd
I am going to demand he be excused so I can bring him home to watch it...
Not gonna let a bunch of racist morons keep my kid from seeing what I am sure will be a very usefull talk...

1. Inexcusable behavior from you son's school, teacher, whoever. |
|
You are doing the right thing by taking him out to watch the President's address. I would encourage you to be very vocal about that too.

2. Wouldn't that be quite the statement |
|
if every parent who wanted their child to hear the President speak did just that?!

I don't have any kids in school but I'll find out tomorrow how my grandkids' school in Portland, Ore is handling it.

3. Ask the school why they are censoring the President of the United States |
|
and ask them if they also censored Reagan and Bush I's speeches.

6. The school will not be paid for your child for that day. ADA is how they survive. |
|
ADA, or Average Daily Dependence, determines their funding.
Lower attendance means less money.
And they should know that.
And I'd support a full walkout of students at any school that chooses not to show the POTUS.

7. You don't have to demand an excuse, you are his parent |
|
you can make that decision.
Hell, if the schools can allow the morans on the right not let their kids go to school if they are showing it, then it should be no problem for those parents that want to do it if they want their kids to see it.

8. If they have ever shown any children any presidential address and not show this |
|
one I would let them know that you would be contacting the ACLU and raising issues about how racist the current policy is at the next school board meeting.
