Conflict-of-interest issues grow for President Obama's new urban czar Adolfo Carrion

John P. Holdren has been named President Barack Obama's Science Czar.

I got these from a music website I visit that has a political discussion section. The righties there are insufferable assholes. I know, that was redundant.

1. Why have these "czars"? It just plays into the right-wing "socialist agenda" thing.

2. It's the RW and their media who calls them Czars.....and we simply parrot them....
like we always do!

Seems like whatever the RW coins, we adopt.
Says more about us than it does about them. :eye:

4. considering the rightwing are now the ones framing the debate - what we call these people
is irrelevant.

The right wing ignores the fact that Bush had more czars than Obama, of course.

5. Get rid of all the czar's right now
they are a way around our elected officials and they should be fired and a law needs to be passed to prevent this type of usurping of elected officials authority to happen ever again.
