FL Repub. Chairman Jim Greer says NOW he'll let his child watch Obama's speech... |
|
because Obama obviously CHANGED it to an innocuous "stay in school, get good grades" message. Greer said on CNN today that Obama put a different speech online than the one he was originally going to give and THIS one is acceptable. Of course when asked if he had any evidence of that, he said no, but the worksheet that the WH gave out to the schools "didn't match" with the speech he's NOW going to give, which would've tried to indoctrinate the kids with his socialist agenda. :eyes:

12. Like how they don't believe the Hawaiian birth certificate. |
|
Even if the truth came up and bit them in the ass, they'd swear up and down it was a mosquito or pit bull or something else that bit them.
Because that's how they roll.

15. More like our media will forget all about his speech and never mention it once the kids see it |
|
They did basically the exact same thing when Reverend Wright was going to be interviewed (I think on PBS), they talked all about it several days in advance (during the election) about what crazy things Obama's pastor might say. Then the interview actually airs, and *gasp*, Wright shows himself to be a fairly regular guy, and doesn't give them any good soundbytes from the interview to make him look crazy, so then the media 'forgets' to tell us how the interview went (other then the channel that interviewed him & aired the interview).

So, this is the new right wing talking point: Obama's speech was inappropriate, but he changed it because we spoke up.
I've seen this a few times now. "He changed it."
So, since the morans can't really find anything in the speech that they can point to as offensive without appearing completely batshit crazy, now they're just lying about it, saying that he changed it.
I have heard NOTHING about the speech being changed. They invented that. Some of the questions for the accompanying study materials were changed.

and the WH came out and said they didn't change a THING in the speech. The RWers will keep saying that they changed it, though.
