Sitting here in Canada, watching Hannity flat-out lie, as in THE BIG LIE, that 70% of Canadians hate their "rationing" of healthcare and want to "dismantle" our healthcare system...it's even beyond surreal.

Fact is, the latest polls show over 86% of Canadians prefer our system over the US sytem, and want to strengthen our public health system.

Other fact is, we do not have "rationing" of healthcare in Canada.

Those are FACTS and easily-verified FACTS at that.

I have no idea why I still find it absolutely jaw-dropping to hear the likes of Hannity flat-out lie their asses off against the American people, especially something as life & death as healthcare.

I guess I was just raised to be an honest person, and especially when it is life & death matters.

Obviously, republics like Hannity were not thus raised.

7. They're only fooling themselves. Many Americans seem to believe that if they lie
loudly enough, the rest of the world will suddenly believe the lie(s).

They won't.

Canada, Britain, Sweden etc KNOW the majority love their healthcare systems and want even stronger public healthcare.

And no amount of lying from Americans will change what we KNOW.

But holy shit, does it ever make a lot of Americans look like the biggest idiots on the planet. Here's this supposedly #1 nation, bestest in everything always *thump chest*.

Ummm. . .

4. when I find out a person watches/listens to asshannity I make the following bet
I will get 10 one hundred dollar bills and we will monitor Hannity for a week. Each time he states a lie I take one bill away, once all the bills are gone you need to put $100 for each additional lie. And restating the same lie over and over again counts as multiple lies because that is how indoctrination works, so are you ready to bet?

Never had anyone take me up, they call me a few names but never put up or shut up.

5. I've seen this debunked repeatedly on C-SPAN
Just by having on people from Canada, who by the way seem to be a little upset about the way their system is being slandered by people in the U.S.

8. Fact is, Canadians live longer than we do in the US...
How is it that their healthcare system is so piss poor, yet they live longer than we do?

One simple question... I have some Fundy asshole RW cousins calling me names right now because they can't answer that question... so naturally, I'm the one who is wrong in this argument.

I'm so sick of the stupid.

10. I wish they could see it from the rest of the world's view.
If they could only see how childish they look, with their silly lies that fool only the foolish.

We see these so-called adults on TV saying there won't be enough doctors if every American had health care...and we collectively shake our heads over such immense stupidity. We roll our eyes and say "Americans...what can ya do" with a shake of the head and shrug of the shoulders.

We look at the freepingly ignorant rightwingers and just can't fathom the depth of stupidity it must take to be against healthcare for every American. The depth of ignorance to be against the POTUS addressing school kids. The depth of anti-Americanism to be publicly calling for the death of the POTUS.

The sheer depth of dumb.

Astounding.
