Thank you, Dr. Nancy, for sending off that idiot
who claimed that it is some kind of "violation" for a kid to tell teachers what his dreams and aspirations are, what he wants to be when he grows up.

Dr. Nancy finally shut him off, said something like: let's hear from someone who understands this.

Oh, and that idiot was talking about the San Antonio School District..

5. That moron looked and talked like Napoleon Dynamite
What a sad and pathetic performance by a major wingnut teabagger spokesperson. Truly laughable.

6. That was good.
She said, "Now I'll turn to someone who knows about education" or something like that.

He was a real zombie. He started making vague noises about the 14th Amendment, and lesson plans collecting private info about students, or some such horseshit. Thinks he's a Constitutional scholar.

7. He said something about the "protection of peoples' rights amendments"
what the hell is that? They he talks about "code 34 of the federal regulations" (34 CFR? Might be, that's education.) But really, if that's the best he can do?

She creamed him with her "so kids are supposed to talk about what they want to be when they grow up?"

The complaints about Obama's speech to school children is backfiring. For those of you who still have kids in school, insist the not let any republicans talk to their kids either. Or demand equal time. Like what would the GOP say if they had been given equal time? "No, the president is wrong. Drop out. Oh, and don't tell you teacher what your goals are or what you want to be when you grow up because that is messing with your psyche"

I hope this country wakes up.

I hope this country wakes up.

I hope this country wakes up.

Soon.
