7. Here is the problem

racists have been having to cope with children who are enthusiastic about our president. The could not hammer on them with the racist justification because kids are not likely as racist as their parents and would reject it.
RW nut cases come up with the cult/nazi president scam to give the parents a reason to indoctrinate their kids against Obama. They had to do something to teach their children not to respect the president.

I do think we have witnessed a sophisticated, organized propaganda machine that is out to destroy Obama for being black and for being a Democrat. It was effective in so far as they took control of the issue.
