Joe Wilson wasn't the only disrespectful Republican...great Salon article exposing other Rethugs
Edited on Wed Sep-09-09 11:55 PM by Jennicut
When Obama addressed the charge that he plans "panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens," someone on the GOP side shouted out "shame!" The president went on: "Such a charge would be laughable if it weren't so cynical." "Read the bill!" someone shouted back. Obama mentioned those who accuse him of a government takeover of health care. "It's true," someone shouted back .... Even as Obama delivered a tribute to the late senator Ted Kennedy, Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga), a leader of House conservatives, perused his BlackBerry. Shortly before the speech ended, Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.) walked out to beat the rush.

Did they forget they were in a joint session of congress and not some out of control town hall? They just damaged themselves and we did not have to do a thing.

3. They acted like cornered rabid rats,
lashing out..they had no control over their bodies in the Congressional Hall.

They hoisted themselves on their own petard and all the President had to do was make a speech:)

4. I'm glad when they show their asses
I hate that old-timey vulgar Southern phrase. But in this case we need to see who are the worst asses.

6. They've been spending too much time with their trashy base.
It was disgusting and I hope we don't focus on Miller to the exclusion of the other pigs. I always thought the repubs were just pandering to society's trash to get votes but tonight they showed themselves for the low class, trash they are.
