Does the post office still deliver mail postage due?
Edited on Thu Sep-10-09 12:55 AM by gauguin57
Cuz if so, I think we should send hunks of metal, postage due, in envelopes looking like campaign donations, to Wilson, Cantor, Vitter and all the other little stupid-ass babies who messed with Obama last night. Well, Vitter just told lie upon lie about the health care plan in his fundraising letter (per Olbermann)

Or -- as I read in a humor magazine years ago -- send a brick, with a note saying, "I've compressed your filth and am sending it back to you, postage due."

2. They dont actually deliver it
They deliver a pick up notice to you. You have to go pay to get it from them or they send it back. Would be fun to get a box of rocks back in a month or so though.

3. no. it is usually returned to sender for correct postage. although
what I have now taken to doing, since the RNC insists on claiming that I am a member and they want me to renew, is to burn the renewal notice, put the ashes into the prepaid postage envelope and mail it back to them. I leave the address page intact with taunting remarks so that hopefully they will finally remove me from their rolls. I've also told them that if it continues that I will attach the letter to a brick....then they will be on the hook for the additional postage
