ANOTHER "BAILOUT" FOR CORPORATE AMERICA
$900 billion to the FOR PROFIT Health Care industry. After the
trillion$ we gave to the Financial Industry we can not afford
to keep wasting our money, especially when it is just a
band-aid for the citizens who are not insured. If we keep
throwing al of this money around, especially when it just
benefits the wealthy, we will not be able to get real reform
for health Care. Even though UNIVERSAL SINGLE PAYER will save
us a lot of money, there will be a "start-up" cost.
We all know that after the insurance industry burns through
the original $900 billion, we will be right back where we are.
Health Care must be recognized as a basic human right. It is!
Personally, I think that if we can not get a bill that (like
the majority of Americans want) covers all Americans and takes
the profit out of Health Care, then we should not pass any
bill. It is just another "give-a-way" to the
wealthy. We already earn less money (adjusted for inflation)
than we did in the 1970's. Why should we just keep giving our
money away to the already wealthy? Trickle-down does not work.
We have not seen any of the "stimulus money", and we
keep losing our jobs and homes. I say we wait until we have a
progressive, courageous President or a progressive majority in
Congress, and take the profit out of health care.

3. WHICH INFO DO YOU WANT A LINK TO?
Last night, during the Presidents speech, he said it would cost about $900 billion to start this program. If you want the numbers for SINGLE PAYER UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE, look at the figures provided in HR676. No I don't have "links" for you. The information is very easy to find though. Do remember the trillions that we gave to "financial sector?" Is there anymore info you are looking for?

4. Go to a right wing board, where you will learn that the proposal is
"socialist" or "communist" or "totalitarian."

That'll make you feel better.

6. I COULD DEFINITELY BE CONSIDERED "SOCIALIST"
I apologize about my fonts also. I just do not want to give
the wealthy more of our money. I think that profiting off
someones misery is sick. I guess you guys think that I am a
RW'er because I didn't agree with President Obama last night.
I really don't care. I just want health care to be considered
a basic human right, because it is. I do not think that giving
the wealthy more of our money will accomplish anything. What
will make me "feel better" is UNIVERSAL SINGLE PAYER
health care. It is a "right."
We always are disgusted by the way billo and beck treat
people, well I guess if I disagree with fellow Democrats, I
get treated the same way. I thought we were better than
that...

8. I'm just saying the right is convinced the plan as is is "socialist"
They thought the stimulus was, too. I was sort of kidding - the government will be taking over health care according to them and we are winning in their eyes.

If they get the insurance companies covering everyone, that would not be a bad step toward universal health care.
