1. At least she had an honest appraisal of Obama's speech
Why is everyone else so optimistic? He watered down the public option to almost nothing in that speech!

2. Agreed!
I was hoping there would be a way for my son & his wife to finally get healthcare. He cannot afford the crap healthcare his employer offers because he doesn't earn enough - healthcare is a 'luxury' for them after food, shelter, utilities, car insurance & gas. Every time I go to the market, I get a gift card for them so they can stretch their food dollars. With his employer offering healthcare, crappy, expensive healthcare, he will not qualify for the public option but still be REQUIRED to buy the crap offered by his RW employer (yes, RW - the clown donated to the swift boat crowd).

3. Yeah well,
He also called her to a meeting today. Maybe he's going to set her straight.

I'm sure I don't need to point out that she is misrepresenting his position in order to pander to her constituents. She has this misguided belief that she can win re-election if she appeals to the rural areas of the state. She's wrong. She will lose too many votes in St. Louis & Kansas City.
