The PO should be an option that is open to everyone ... not a small segment of the population.

THAT WILL NOT reduce premiums for the rest of us struggling to pay them each month.

Basically if you have insurance offered to you by your employer your screwed you cant access the PO and you cant get into the exchange even if you are on the "verge" with your premium.

I want to be able to decide whats affordable for my family and that SHOULD include other options!!!!

With salaries not increasing, my costs increasing all over the place right now I'm more concerned about massive increases in my

premiums than I am about being denied a claim.

What about the people who don't live in big houses, make average salaries, I mean I drive a frekin car thats 20 yrs old this year ... we are a few bill increases from not being able to make it. I already have to juggle bills there's nothing left to give.

Where does MOST OF MY PAYCHECK go each month? Health Insurance !!!!! Ya its MORE than my mortgage.

2. That needs to happen. And I hear ya, OP!
We can't be forced to take mediocre, bare minimum plans that employers decide to throw out there "from the goodness of their hearts". We all need a crack at the public option if it is better than what we are offered at work.
