2. in a few short weeks Ensign, Duvall, Sanford, Vitter, etc etc went from Fam Values to FAIL
The GOP is undergoing sim freefall for a diff reason but related...LOLOness, Stupidity, BAKATAREness, Lack of neurons, etc

Could inbreeding be a cause??? Whole Families of Republicans vote with persistence...for Republicans....only.

They teach their kids the tricks to win at the Polls...

3. I think they deserve to be renamed
I'm thinking the "The Fringe Party" would be appropriate.

4. It's a disease kinda like PTSD
Edited on Thu Sep-10-09 09:42 PM by lunatica
It's the syndrome. It's the knee jerk tick left over from listening to Bush assure them he was a God appointed winner only to be the worst loser ever. It makes their heads spin involuntarily and somewhat resembles Turrets Syndrome.

5. ...OK, who upset the card table!
Edited on Thu Sep-10-09 09:47 PM by MissMarple
Or should we discuss "feet of clay", or, perhaps, mourn the "Death of Conservatism"?

If I seemed obscure about the card table, I was referencing a house of cards. There appears to be at least one person around here who seems to think I'm a republican in disguise. :eyes:

12. About seven years ago....
Edited on Fri Sep-11-09 12:42 AM by pauldg0
...I saw some thing on fox that wasn't Kosher. I guess it was in me to be more of a people person. I was a Republican and now a firm Democrat. It is so easy to see. My whole family are repuks except me. They just do not get it. Not one of them has soiled their hands of hard work in their life....all bankers and business people. Me, I'm an engineer in Detroit...started on the assembly line and worked my way up and educated myself and paid on my own.

My family sees all the strife in this area and they still vote like dead flesh zombies....just sickening.

Oh, just a note....it's funny but not too funny...My father a staunch Republican (he now has Alzheimer's) all his life, was watching Obama speak on one of his good days and he said this about Obama..."I like that guy...he's pretty sharp".

A bit funny, insensitive, sad, but true!

He thinks very simply now and maybe that is what the other side needs.
