I think I figured out who the 2016 Democratic Nominee for President will be |
|
Senator Mark Begich of Alaska.
And in 2008 the Republicans will nominate Bob Corker. I saw an article in Politico and there was some talk about that.

1. By that time Senator Corker will likely be in 4-point restraints in |
|
a locked ward in a remote venue, slobbering and howling jibberish.
Pretty much the same as now, only without the 4-point restraints.

7. Mark Warner, possibly. |
|
Maybe even Cory Booker, who's my favourite politician (!), but that's more likely in 2020 or even '24.

But hey, Reagan was pretty old, too.

15. Dean won't be that old |
|
67 during the campaign, 68 by the time he would take office if he won. He seems to take good care of himself, I doubt age would be much of a problem.

11. I think any prediction will likely be off |
|
Look at the last election. Anyone that said Obama would be elected in 2008 3 years prior (which would have been 2005) would been making a long shot (granted the long shot won thankfully). My point is, there are plenty of people out there for upcoming elections that it is hard without a crystal ball and special powers to even guess who the nominee might be.

20. He'd better be, I was promised a prominent role in the Wetzelbill/Kurovski administration |
|
Although I certainly don't see the need for him to be sober in order to be an effective President.

16. I say Biden gives it a shot. |
|
I know it sounds crazy, but nowadays people are staying active until they are much older. I wouldn't even be surprised if Hillary gave it another shot. Outside of myself, how about Al Franken? That would be interesting.
I'd like to see Brian Schweitzer or maybe Sherrod Brown get in there too.

18. Schweitzer or Warner, I think, barring some kind of dark horse Obamaesque candidate. |
|
The election will probably be close a la 2000, but if the Dem. candidate wins I guess 2020 will be a Republican year.
Then Cory Booker will come and save us all in 2024! *swoons*

After the race she ran in 2008, I think she deserves another shot.

26. That is correct it is just my opinion |
|
But I do not think she can wait until 2016. She will be in her early 70s. I believe she will challenge President Obama in the 1011 primaries I do not know if she will be successful, but I believe she will give it a try. To use a term from Abraham Lincoln, she has been bitten by the presidential bug.
