I am here on the ground and there are so many people it’s almost overwhelming.
They are predicting 50,000 people attend the Washington events over the weekend. If that is the case, they cannot ignore us. This will make this one of the largest events in the history of Washing D.C. Great job guys!!! I wish I could be there.

the gal I spoke to here in Michigan that organized 3 buses out of Madison Hgts had stated that she needed a count of attendants so that there would be enough porta potties to cover the event in DC. She was suppose to forward this info to the DC police.

OH MY GAWD!!!! Prayers are being answered! Fox News Interactive has a live stream going RIGHT NOW of all the people just streaming to the site ... there are HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people there! Twitter is reporting that DC Police are saying it's 1.5 MILLION people and still growing.
I see from that link that someone is saying there may be more now then there was for the Inauguration..

This crowd is already much larger than seen in Tehran during their protests yet the media managed to overcome the Mullahs oppression to free speech and cover it. Now, not so much. Telling.

I’m hearing from serveral sources 1.2 million. I think Pelosi was floating the 2 million number so she could say it was a failure, she’ll be eating her hat.
Doing a bit of math, since 2 million is double for those who attended Obama’s inauguration about 9 months ago, that means 500,000 more Americans are protesting his administration than who came to celebrate its start. No wonder he flew to Minnesota today — no reason to be distracted by the “little people”.

If all these people are on the Mall now it certainly is not showning up. Where did they go? 3rd and Constitution traffic cam doesn’t show many right now so they must be off camera.
I was pretty good at estimating crowds when I worked at the ball park, to me this looks like 100-200k so far, but an overhead shot would be better. That’s a pretty good crowd.
I've been to loads of March for Life events and this crowd to me looks like the one we had the year of President Bush's first inaugaration. I'll tell you one thing, anybody referring to that crowd as "tens of thousands" or "thousands" is a lying sack of crap.

The mall covers 309 acres. If the average density of people is 10 sf per person, 1.2 million could make sense.
It’s more than 60k, but the 2 mil figure is irresponsible and being throw around to discredit the event.

Do people here understand how insane 2 mil is? Most stadiums hold 50k-70k. 2 mil is 15-20 times that many. Using those numbers is irresponsible and when the real figure comes out will only create a huge let down. Let’s try to keep it realistic. On the high side of realistic...
