4. Actually, I don't care for this comparison shot.
I'd rather have the photo on the left taken the same distance from Washington Monument as the photo on the right, or at least from the same height. The perspective difference is great enough that the nuts could dismiss it (maybe saying the tent blocks their masses). I mean, it's obvious their masses aren't actually there, but I'm just sayin'... The photos in the OP--especially the two taken from approximately the same location--are much better indicators of respective crowd sizes.

5. Hubby said the same thing - also, it has since been pointed out on another post
about the timestamp on the CSPAN pix - 12:56 Pacific time - would be 3:56 here on the East Coast. I just haven't taken the time to update the post.
