2. Having heard from both Collins and Snowe |
|
It sounds like 39 opposed for sure, and that's probably not including more than handful of blue dog Dems.
Probably more like 43 firmly opposed.
Collins even said that she will oppose any trigger as well.

3. Something is way off with the support number and the ytbd number. From other counts I've seen |

recently, the numbers are basically flip-flopped. Mid-forties for support, and somewhere around twenty, iirc, undecided.

5. This is incomplete. All of the MA delegation but two support the public option |

None is listed.
Same in Rhode Island where Whitehouse, a strong supporter of the public option, is not listed.
It seems that he uses committee votes to determine who supports it or not, counting senators and congresspeople who do not belong to those committees who already voted as TBD, even if they have said they support the public option.

6. Safe to say that ALL Republicans in Senate Oppose the Public Option... |
|
Not sure if those #s already reflect that...If not then you have a sure number by tossing every undecided republican under the oppose column

9. I wonder how accurate that is |
|
None of my reps (House and Senate) are noted with anything, and I know that my Congressman supports the public option.
