Enough Already! RECONCILE!
To the President:

The entire Republican Senate caucus, save---possibly---Snowe, has made clear, again and again and again, that it would rather hire Sarah Palin as its group psychotherapist than help you achieve anything vis-a-vis health care reform.

Sadly, alleged Democrats like Moneyed Max of Montana, as well as Can't CONrad of North Dakota, are contributing to the well-paid opposition.

With respect, sir, it really is time to take off the gloves. We, The People, on November 4, 2008, mandated---not merely elected, Mr. President: mandated---you to carry out the programs which you outlined during both the primary and general election campaigns.

You have the power, sir: USE IT! I guarantee that we won't mind!

Few doubt that 50+ Senate votes exist for a (pun intended) healthy public option. Toss away any fantasy of "bipartisanship," as your foes never had such a thought to begin with. The GOP stands for one thing, which, as a fellow Bears fan, I know you can appreciate:

GET Obama, PERIOD!

Listen not to the "pragmatists," sir, but rather to the passionate! Emotion played no small part in your election, ten months ago. It sure as hell is playing a noxious, hateful role in the red-faced, vein-bulging, fist-shaking SCREAM that is the so-called "dissent" regarding your "policies."

Cast away the DINOs, snout the rabid Blue Dogs, and do what we hired you to do!!!

1. Boom! Do it! Done
It really is as simple as that! And it's only going to get worse if they don't.

2. Sadly, you're quite correct
Once again, our immeasurable power to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, is on full display!

I'm sorry, that you can't realize we hired a President who believes in a division of power. Bush didn't believe it existed and Clinton for all his faults and successes at times failed to realize their role as well. Obama has always strongly believed in it and I hired him to do just that.

People want him to take off the gloves and do this or that. You do realize that is what many on the right were expecting of Bush/Cheney and he delivered. You are doing the exact same thing. He wants the Congress on the same page as himself and unfortunately he's not getting that. However when you say dump the Dino's---Dino's make up 13 people in the bloody Senate also known as ConservaDems. Even if we have 60 votes (give or take Lieberman) and you remove 13 of them we'll still be under a passable vote with reconciliation.

Most on here who are clamouring for the same thing don't know how to get things done unfortunately. I have a professor who was a big time Green conservative and was give a job working for the EPA he did a lot of New York but leftists on his side were screaming for more and he said, "You haveto show you can win the small things and make changes slowly and when those successes are cleared you'll have the political clout for more." However, what Obama has shown to have aginst him is a fucked up economy handed down by the Repubs, bail outs to successes thanks to his own help and Bush, added to that racist pricks who are in the House and Senate and others who cater to their own agendas than the people they were hired to serve. That being said---your whole screams of take the gloves off is not enough.

Instead of asking him---since I felt he's done a great deal. I think it's better for people to make news and they take the intiative. Obama's done what he could and we have to be seen and heard. I've seen many of the idiots on TV because their easier to see. You rarely see the Dems who know better interrupt those pricks and give them the facts. I've only seen one vid of a progressive who took the initiative and walk through an Anti-Healthcare Reform rally under police protection. Where are more of him in their local areas doing that.

Obama's doing his part to the best and beyond his abilities from what I can see. I would rather see more calls from people on our side screaming for rallies and making moves to get the Dino's out if they don't vote FOR a viable PO and a viable healthcare reform plan.

I'm tired of posts implying Obama isnt doing his job. Because from what I can see he most definitely is doing his job----I don't see US doing ours though. <---Added to centralize the point---our job didn't end in voting for our political leader. It continues for every bill or amendment or law or whatever is passed under our name or for us.

You can't negotiate with people who use the phrase 'Democrat party'. Very simple. They are out to destroy and have bragged about it.
