On a very hardcore "birther" thread regarding Judge Clay Land's TRO denial/dismissal of the latest chapter in the misadventures of Orly Taitz...

To: Lurking Libertarian
It is my *UNDERSTANDING* that he is a *CLINTON* appointee.

Even if he isn’t a Clinton appointee, he’s still a *DEMOCRAT* appointee. Bush could only *NOMINATE* judges for Senate *APPROVAL*. At that time there was a Dem *MAJORITY* in the Senate.

4. We know where we can find the dumbest Americans..
at Free Republic.
That thread has MANY people, however, who are beginning to challenge birthers with the facts, (like who appointed this judge)

But birthers will never abandon their racism.

6. Using that logic, Obama is a Republican because the Chief Justice
of the SC who swore him in, is a Republican.

Damn, the complete and total lack of logical thinking is painful.

9. But it really turns out for the best.
Because...

Any appointment that Clinton made after January 1995 until January 2001 are actually *REPUBLICAN* appointments since Clinton just nominated them and the Senate had to approve.

My friggin' head hurts after witnessing the mental gymnastics going on over there.
