That is what I hate about this new breed of "centrist"- it's clear to me that they don't really believe in anything, much less in their own words.
They dont want to be "progresive"- they just want to do what they think will keep them in the "majority." Fair enough, but I think they are even going about that goal wrong.
My guess is Baucus needed to squeeze a few more bucks from "the industry" before he bows out. I hope is now out of the picture.
Why these "Blue Dogs" hacks are allowed to steer the rest of us is way beyond me in any event.
