"Get the government out of my life!"
"Get the government out of my life!"

<...>

OK. Where would you like to start?

I know. Let's start with the police and fire department. (Can you hear Ben Franklin groaning?) House burning? Did you pay the approximately $8,000 per household that each fire department needs to buy and maintain the equipment to battle fires? Do you have a fireman on your personal staff? What? You can't afford that? Awww, that's really too bad.

A strange and suspicious character has been seen in the neighborhood. Unless you personally paid your share of the Sheriff's salary, and the cost of those new police cars and 911 operators, you'll just have to round up the neighbors, grab those guns and drive the suspicious character out. What do you mean it was your brother? Dead? Awww, that's really too bad.

What do you plan to do with all that garbage and trash piling up around your house? It's not only an eyesore, it's a health hazard to you, and to everyone else. No place to take it? They had to close the dump? Awww. That's really too bad!

How will you educate your kids? At an average cost of $7,000 per child (You say you have 3 kids?), a cost that barely offsets day to day operations in schools, I really must ask how were you at algebra and geometry? Oh, don't worry about the kids of rich folks. They will go on, with their ever widening skills set advantage, as the taxes you no longer wanted anyone to pay are channeled into private schools.

You will, of course, be responsible for all of the roads and highways that touch your property. If you fail to cough up the $20,000, or so, that constitutes your share of highway repair and maintenance costs, and the trucks and cars can no longer get to your area, well, I guess you'll just have to starve. Unless you are completely self-sufficient.

Forget that Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard. They suck down billions everyday. They are government and we have to get them out of your life.

2. Clean water.
How'd you like to pay for installing that septic tank in the back yard. Better hurry up, they start shutting down the pump stations tomorrow and the sewage treatment plant itself by the end of the week.
Oh, you don't have a yard to speak of? Too bad you and your 'Party of NO!' pissed off those who would have otherwise have helped you. Such a shame.

3. You will have to personally test every food product you buy
and medicine you take to make sure it isn't poisonous.
