This is the only thing she has been talking about for 3 days now. Can we say "let's make news?"

1. That's all they've got
They have nothing else they can beat him up over. For weeks all they did was screech about how he wasn't up there leading the healthcare battle. He launches an information assault, and they shift to the, "He's out there too much" complaint. Whatever he does, they'll complain and whine. It's insane.

Bush couldn't handle coming out and talking up his plans, so since they couldn't admit it was due to his limitations, they had to try to turn that into a plus, as in, "The president shouldn't be visible! He's the man behind the curtain! He's strong when he's mysterious and silent!" When really, they had to hide him so people weren't laughing at his inability to answer questions.

Now we've got Obama, who's pretty damn masterful for the most part when he's interviewed. So they have to pretend he's overexposed. It's insane. I'm glad the White House doesn't buy into that crap. Keep it up, President Obama! The more people hear what you have to say, the better, as far as I'm concerned!

2. Alex Twitt is just following the standard M$M meme this week
She's so right wing I'm surprised she hasn't asked, "where's the birth certificate?"

3. It's really amusing to see people who park themselves on tv for hours every day lecturing the
president about being "overexposed."

7. The only people worried about Pres. Obama being over
exposed are Republicans. They hate seeing him get so much coverage because he is still very popular. It's all they have.

8. Dubya had too much on his plate when it came out of the dishwasher
Edited on Sun Sep-20-09 10:52 AM by izquierdista
The man was stupid with a capital "P". Remember when they had to ban pretzels from his plate because he got cross-eyed looking at them and forgot to breathe? (Choked on one, yeah right. Anyone who blows the haves and have-mores like he did could deep throat a trailer hitch.)
