President Obama's Interviews - Who Was The Best Interviewer? The Worst? |
|
I saw three interviews: CNN, ABC and NBC.
1. I thought John King was the best, since he was more focused on asking questions, then trying to get President Obama to buy into certain canned talking points.
2. George S. really kind of confused me with his insurance premiums as taxes argument, since we currently pay insurance premiums now, and we don't call them taxes. Also, isn't the point to slow the growth of insurance premiums and make insurance more affordable? So, the whole tax definition debate was a big distraction.
3. David Gregory was also pretty bad, since he kept trying to get the President to commit to dropping the public option, and focused on the legislative process, rather than the substance of reform. President Obama smacked him down pretty clearly in pointing out that the loudest most strident voices appearing on cable news are not always the ones with the best ideas.
I did not see universion or CBS. How did they do?
