So is Glenn Beck for supporting Mitt Romney because he's a Mormon too?

I didn't realize that Glenn Beck is a Mormon (http://christianlds.wordpress.com/2008/01/28/glenn-beck-a-mormon-convert/) and he was mentioning that he wanted Mitt Romney to get ready for 2012 (I'm assuming to run for President and not the End Times).

What does the fact that Beck is a Mormon do with the Right Wing Zealots? Do they know?

(By the way, I don't have a "problem" with Mormons...)

About the Republican "Christian"* base and Mormons:

...a Los Angeles Times/Bloomberg poll back in June of 2006 found that 37 percent of Americans said "that they would not vote for a Mormon presidential candidate." Similarly, in a February of 2007, USA Today poll, 24% of American adults flat out said that they would not vote for a Mormon who ran for the presidency.
