First Lady of New York Seems to attack Obama for not Supporting her Husband, because he too is Black
Honestly, Michelle Paterson should probably quit while she's way behind, because this sort of attack doesnt make any sense and is just ridiculous.

The New York Post reports that David Paterson's wife today strayed onto the racially-charged turf the White House likes least, blasting Obama in pretty clear terms of solidarity:

She called it "very unfair" that the president asked New York's "first African-American governor" not to seek office.

"You never heard of that before," Michelle Paterson said. "David's the first African-American governor in the state of New York and he's being asked to get out of the race. It's very unusual and it seems very unfair."

2. Is this the wife that he cheated on in the hotel?

If so, she needs to stick to her own house of cards.

6. And the first African American Pres. of the United States got there by...
... WORKING his HIND END off. PROVING why he deserved the job above every other American.

David Patterson didn't even earn the office he's in now.

If David Patterson wants to continue to have the job, he needs to prove he can win it.

You know just to help the people who don't know his name!

9. I don't think that's fair
Yeah, sure, Paterson's not doing well in the polls and can only blame himself for it. But that said, he did very much earn the job of Lt Gov by hard work within the system. So in a real sense he did earn being governor. I agree with his wife that he deserves a shot at being governor for a full term.

But then, I agree more with Obama's people. He's had two years to take that shot... and apparently the voters of New York are not behind him. So he's earned his popularity too. Personally, I think Obama needs to William Weld him rather than make him stand down so publically. He could've appointed Paterson to some ambassadorship -- a nonvital prestige post like South Korea or Italy, so it's not a demotion but he can't do any more harm.

11. If he was good enough to be the governor, why wasn't he elected?
Did he choose to sit out the race because he was SO AWESOME that he wanted to be fair to the others? Of course not.

Joe Biden is the VP now because he didn't beat Obama in the primaries.

Again, Patterson has had more than enough time to prove he was worthy of reelection. I am NOT willing to see Guiliani in the Gov. mansion just because we want to give Patterson a "fair chance."

He's had it already.
