The only person to ever defeat Obama in an election was Bobby Rush, a founding member of the Chicago BPP. And why does everyone jump to explain that Obama was not a Black Panther. The BPP did a very good job with their breakfast program and might have done much more to help our country were it not for the COINTELPRO program that, among other crimes, assassinated comrade Fred Hampton in Chicago. Many of its leaders were eliminated and replaced by cop informants and thugs.
