7. My favorite day of the campaign!!!
It kicked off with Biden giving an AWESOME speech that I thought, at the time, would be the highight of the day.

Then the President giving an awesome speech in Dunedin, FL (I will always be able to remember that town's name.) They played Folgerty's "Centerfield" "the sun came out today, we're born again, there's new grass on the field..." and the sun was STREAMING down upon the future President as he spoke.

Then the back and forth between Sen. Obama and McCain, they put out a joint statement and then McCain publically renigged on it and the the future President did a briefing of his own where he declared, "as President, I'll be expected to do more than one thing at a time!"

Then they all flew to DC, had that meeting at the Oval Office (or that might have been the next day) and then President * went on TV and said, "AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! We're ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!!! MONEY!!!!!! WE NEED MONEY!!!!!!!!!"

He had been down a bit in the polls but by this point, he'd come completely back and he never looked back. It was all downhill from here.

Thanks for reminding me!

11. I've had several "one year ago today" moments this week
There are 2 huge annual celebration gatherings in our city, one this week and one last week..both of which I volunteered for voter registration booths last year. I see the signs now and think "that was a YEAR ago this week I did that"????

OT here but: somehow I blinked and missed the month of September..how the HELL did it get to be a few days away from OCTOBER???
