It was for Black History Month
RE: The infamous "school kids indoctrination song"

At least, that's what Barnacle said on Hardball.

2. The whole complaint is racist.
Nobody had a problem with songs and plays and celebrations of presidents when they're white.

6. So, the song's relation to Black History Month
...has no relevance to you?

8. And out of office.
And, for the most part, dead.

These aren't irrelevant details, but the core of the complaint.

Now, if it *was* for black history month, i.e., something that started a few days after inauguration, it's even more embarrassing. Why? Because they're singing the praises and glory of a sitting president for all his great accomplishments a scant few weeks after taking office. They're not praising him for what he did, but what he is, and that's by and large not something that we do with presidents. They are civil servants, and are praised to the extent they discharge their obligations well. They are not generally considered to be objects of praise and glory. Most of the reasons I've seen justifying this paean strike me as pathetic and worrisome, to be honest.

7. I heard it today, Mike Savage show, and I realized I had heard it before.
The sound on the YouTube I played yesterday wasn't clear.

On his show I heard it clearly and remembered, "Shit, this was months and months ago."

Waddabunchabullshit.
