I wonder how long their list of "outrages" is.. |
|
Edited on Sat Sep-26-09 04:32 PM by Peacetrain
Every two weeks, (if not every week), another new outrage is taken up in unison by the hell hounds of rightwing radio and others who would like to see our democrats fail.
Another outrage must be wailed against. It does not matter what it is.. we just must listen to them rage rage rage.
There have been so many, I guarantee that you cannot remember half of them. Again not the point.. the point is just to drown out all other voices by their rage at whatever has them yanking the chain that day.
At this rate, in the next 7 plus years, we will be looking at another 300 horrors of humanity committed by Democrats and the President and the Democrats in Congress. (Yes I know I capitalized words that you do not capitalize in that context..but it was for emphasis.. )
Oh, the latest is a song sung by school kids. A little tie in to the outrage two or three weeks ago about the President speaking to school kids.. (I forgot the one in between).
But here is the question or the nub..
Do you think the press will ever catch on.. or keep getting egg on their face as they have to walk back their stories, when they are shown for what they are?

1. the media is unaccountable. |
|
When they are wrong, few will go back and recant or clarify. Mainly they just want a story to cover each day, and it doesn't matter how true or false it might be.
I didn't hear the one about the song until I saw it in the paper this morning, but apparently it was all over right-wing radio and TV yesterday. Some were attributing it to Obama--that the White House was doing it. Can you imagine?
But again, no accountability--and people who believe FOX will go on believing them.

5. It is of infinite length - or only one item on the list |
|
The short list: Outrage at anything President Obama does.
The long one can never end because no matter what is done, they will invent another outrage.
The press don't care, they just like to stand around the edges of the crowds yelling, "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"
