Fake outrage...Bush went to WATCH Olympics...SCREW IT....
I'm sick and tired of the fake outrage that flourishes on the right AND LEFT every time President Obama goes overseas. I don't remember any outrage when President Bush traveled overseas not to try to get the Olympics hosted in the US but to WATCH for chrissakes!!! I seem to remember the country beginning to swirl down the toilet bowl economically, not to mention the fact that we were waging two wars at that time as well!

I simply REFUSE to believe that President Obama is incapable of multi-tasking. I realize that we have a shit-pile of problems going on here at home. I also realize that the Olympics in the US would create bunch of jobs and generate a lot of revenue. That can't hurt. So while the President is on a visit overseas, I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that things are still be worked on back home. Good thing he was able to get the Secret Service to OK his having a Blackberry. Anyone think he has access to a computer and the internetz??????????? GOOD GRIEF!

1. Some folks here will use any excuse to bash Obama. Luckily, they just look
stupid and petty when they do it.

Having the Olympics here would be a great boon to the economy, especially to that region of the country that has lost so many manufacturing jobs.

2. Outrage is some people's thing ...

It's what substitutes for actually doing anything constructive.

9. Or perhaps they're working to destruct.
I'm guessing the repubs would consider it constructive to bash everything about Obama and his administration.

11. Also possible ...

My cynicism has been increasing lately, though.

I think a lot of people are just fundamentally lazy, both physically and mentally, and are using the Internet to whine about thing that, before the Internet, they'd have only whined about at home.

Of course these kinds of people are easily manipulated and are being used by people who do have a broad agenda in mind with all this nonsense.

Why do so many of these idiots hate America?

16. People seem to think he should be chained to the Oval Office.
Technology is such nowadays that work can be done outside the office; the Presidency is not different. Obama is more than capable of handling the serious issues at hand while he is traveling to Copenhagen and back.

Some people will use any reason to bash Obama.

18. And he was DRUNK to boot!
It's amazing how badly the GOP does not want the U.S. to win the Olympic bid just because it would be a win for Obama.

There is no depth to which they will no sink in their hatred of the President and the country.
