Kent Conrad is the biggest tool on the planet
...Senator Kent Conrad says he sees the Schumer proposal as a “significant threat” to hospitals in his state because North Dakota already has the second-lowest reimbursement rates in the country.

But Mr. Conrad says he likes the idea that Mr. Schumer is proposing a not-for-profit competitor. Still, he is concerned about the government’s running it. He seems still to prefer his own idea of co-ops, but he says the Schumer amendment could get at least close to 60 votes.

2. Over the past 8 years or so that I've paid close attention to our Congress,

my respect for The House has gone up exponentially, while I continue to DETEST the "good ole' boys and girls" ass-grabbing in the Senate.

The Senators are too damn OUT-OF-TOUCH with the Average American.

They seem to act like this is one big Fraternity Meeting instead of people's LIVES being put on the balance.

We need to clean up our Democratic Side of the aisle in The Senate. :(

5. I really don't think so even if the Dem's lost races in every competitive or possibly competitive
seat the senate would still be 51-49.

7. Or make it proportional to the population
The Senate is what gives states with low population too much power.
