Poll: Blanche Lincoln Trails Republican Challengers
FRAK her ass! She voted against public option, so she can go to HELL.

Our money and our efforts should go to elect Left-kind of Democrats that will put the people before profits.

Poll: Blanche Lincoln Trails Republican Challengers

Eric Kleefeld | September 29, 2009, 6:11PM

A new Rasmussen poll has some bad news for Sen. Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), who is up for re-election in 2010: She's trailing all four of her Republican challengers in a state that has been trending more to the GOP.

Republican state Sen. Kim Hendren leads Lincoln by 44%-41%. State Senate Minority Leader Gilbert Baker is ahead of her by 47%-39%. Businessman Curtis Coleman edges her out by 43%-41%. And finally, businessman Tom Cox leads her by 43%-40%.

In a further bad sign, Lincoln's favorable rating is only 45%, with 52% unfavorable. The Republican candidates are all hardly known, with undecided numbers of 34%-40% for their own personal ratings -- meaning this is basically Lincoln against generic Republicans. And for now at least, she's losing.

3. That's where this crazy shit is coming from. She's running as a Republican. She'll lose.
She would have to get Michele Bachmann crazy to convince the Bible Thumpers to vote for her.

5. she is no better - if not worse - than a Republican
Edited on Tue Sep-29-09 11:38 PM by liskddksil
her votes against the public option and for restoring abstinence only sex-education funding prove it. Blanche Lincoln's actions give Republicans the narrative that Democrats are not united, which we do not need right now.

8. She is a Republican!
She took the side of the health industry over the people, that makes her a Republican no matter how many "Ds" follow her name.

14. Send A Message To All Dems Using Blanche As An Example......
And President Obama needs to get the same message. If Blanche loses maybe other like voting Dems will think twice about their actions - and maybe President Obama will get tough with them - he's been too nice - he needs to get the Dems to tow the party line - cause that's how he'll get re-elected.

6. Is the Seantor from WalMart now caucusing with the DP?
How odd. Will the Senate notice if she is not there and an (R) beside their name in her place? She is a horrid senator who is alleged to be a Democrat. Heck, Nelson Rockefeller and Nixon were better Democrats than her.

10. Good--why have a DINO when you can have a REAL Republican
Maybe a huge loss in 2010 when the traditional Democratic core simply stays home (after all,we will be too poor paying for mandated insurance to afford gas to drive to the polls) will finally get some real Democrats to run in 2012. We voted for change in 2008 but so far all we have gotten is more of the same: Sell outs to corporate interests.

12. The Republicans don't even have a nominee yet, it's too early
Edited on Wed Sep-30-09 12:32 AM by KingFlorez
Rasmussen is a bit questionable anyway, I find it odd that unknowns would be leading anyone in a race. I hope she gets re-elected, Arkansas Republicans are as radical as they come, we don't need anymore nuts in the Senate.
