I hate the GOP but at least they know how to implement their warped agenda!

1. You must have missed '93-'94. Jim Cooper, who campaigned for Obama blocked HC reform for 16 yrs. nt

4. I did. You must be new to the Democratic Party
They are always their own worst enemy. Because so many Democrats are pretty much Republicans

7. Then again even I couldn't have imagined the appalling bill the finance committee
put together.

Bush and the Republicans would have had a tough time trumping that outrage.

5. O'm concerned we can't get 60 or cloture. Nelson gave Bush the 50th on tax cuts, but towing GOP line
on requiring huge bi-partisan bill support. I lived in Omaha during Bob Kerrey's time as Gov and when pre-Senator, and still don't understand this. I was there for beginnings of Christian fundamentalism, know NE as conservative, but Public Option is cost cutting and health care/insurance reform needed.

6. I was expecting that, and am not surprised
All you have to do is go to Open Secrets for campaign donor information.

8. Eh, not me.
They did the same in the early 90s with Clinton. They completely BLOCKED his stimulus and torpedoed healthcare.

9. I'm still hopeful, but I didn't expect 2009 to feel like the past eight years,
when we were feeling constant frustration. It still feels like being in the minority.
