False equivalence strikes again
I'm listening to Tweety, who is talking about Rep. Grayson with Rep. Wasserman Schultz and a Rep. Dan Lundgren (Rethug). He's asserting parallels between what Grayson said and Rep. Joe Wilson's calling out, "you lie"! etc.

Tweety, it's very simple:

1) Joe Wilson did not have the floor to speak. He shouted out during a Presidential address.
2) President Obama did NOT lie, which makes Joe Wilson's accusation baseless.
3) Grayson is telling the truth.

That is all.

1. Pretty simple, really.

But we all know this will get WORSE - and ALL the REPUKES who like bachman, fox and the others will NOT be called to apologize for what THEY said.

MEMO TO SPINELESS DEMOCRATIC LEADERS: Agree to apologize ONLY AFTER fox, bachman, and the REST of the REPUKES apologize FIRST!!!

MEMO 2: If repukes introduce legislation condemning Grayson, IMMEDIATELY introduce legislation condemning ALL the REPUKES.

I won't hold my breath...

2. Don't forget an apology from Flalin for her death panel talks...
...and the fact that "they" are out to kill her son with Downs Syndrome...

3. Check out the Situation Room from this evening WITH Grayson on...
...and a panel very much against him...and see that he very much stood his ground. Check KO and Rachel as well...Grayson mentioned that KO called him and said "God Bless You" and I saw on DU that Grayson will be a guest on Rachel tonight...

5. What Grayson said was clearly hyperbolic satire....
.... it was SUCH hyperbole ..... and I SWEAR I typed that word before Rachel said it just now! lol ........ that it was clear he was not speaking in a literal sense.

Everything that the GOP has done ...... not so much.

"Last night, I went onto the House floor and did something that the Republicans aren't used to. I told the truth about the Republican health care plan. The plan is simple:

1.Don't get sick.
2.If you do get sick...
3.Die quickly.

"My speech has been replayed on CNN, Redstate, Huffington Post, etc, and mainstream media pundits are saying that I'm the Democratic Joe Wilson. Of course, unlike Joe Wilson, I wasn't rude to the President. Unlike Joe Wilson, I didn't break a rule of the House. And unlike Joe Wilson, I actually told the truth. Every single year, over forty-four thousand people in America die because they don't have health insurance. Read this Harvard study. That is the plain truth."

9. I liked this: "And now the Republicans claim they are going to introduce a resolution
'disapproving' of my behavior.

What is this, junior high school?"

hahahahah!
