on split-screen. OTOH, source says the disparity in placement of lecterns on the split-screen, to make Bush equal height, makes W look somewhat like a baby in a high chair!

The podia are the same height but Kerry is so tall that the microphone on his podium is adjusted to be more than twice the height of Bush*boy's!

You also notice immediately that the top of George's podium is 4-6" below the breastpocket of W's suit, while the top of Kerry's podium is 8-10" below the breastpocket of Kerry's suit.

And, since they've adjusted the focus to make them look the same height, in the center of the screen you can compare the height of the two podiums and see that they're giving Bush* about 4" to make him head and shoulders level with Kerry. It looks bizarre and should make people think Bush* is a vain little pipsqueak who wants to pretend he's taller than he is.

I will really enjoy talking about what a sad little man he is! That's not a slur on short men -- my husband is short, but he's not a little man on the inside, where it counts. He would never wear lifts or otherwise try to appear taller than he is.

Bush* is swallowing a good bit and just drank water for the sixth or seventh time in 30 minutes. I'll go back and check my count after the debate since this is going in TiVo.

Bush* hasn't used his most famous smirk but he's using a pissed-off little smirk and looks like he knows he's up shit creek.
