I can't imagine how he can win after this travesty. Bush has to be toast after this...

6. Bush is in a tailspin
but I'm biased, I guess.

Still, Kerry (and I am a huge critic of his) is articulate, intelligent, and passionate.

Not that these qualities seem to matter to some people in this country.

8. Remember, there are two more debates.
Reagan did poorly in the first debate with Mondale, but came back and did well in the next. We can't relax after this one; we all have to keep our eyes on the ball. I know Kerry will keep his eyes on the ball. :D

9. Absolutely Not.
Bush is patheticly squirming, Kerry is totally calm, cool, collected...

Open your eyes America!!!

10. He takes after his father.
That third town hall debate where he looked at his watch and couldn't understand a question and where he seemed out of touch with the people was probably worse.

Kerry is doing great, and the contrast is clear for all to see. Including freepers.

11. No, none
Ford blundered on the "No soviet domination" comment.
Carter was humorless, but intelligent
Clinton was his charming and intelligent self.

Nixon never debated as president--but those who heard him on the radio thought he won.

12. pinch me guys
is this real? Is Kerry REALLY killing bush that much!? YES, but man bush is killing his own cause too.

Plus, bush is a repeater (iraq, iraq, iraq) whereas Kerry has been progressive in all his responses.

13. HISTORY LESSON: Yes, Reagan botched his 1st debate vs Mondale
But Gipper had a core set of beliefs rather than a core set of talking points. Reagan came back swinging in debate two and saved his landslide.
