There Are TWO More Debates to Come
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 09:27 PM by Crisco
And haven't our expectations all just been lowered dramatically?

This is a joy to watch, it brings a tear to my eye. But I don't assume for a moment Rove isn't taking notes to prep for the next two.

Fat lady is only warming up, I don't mean to be a downer - enjoy this evening - just be prepared for the instance she gets handed some throat losenges for her next performance.

2. Kerry needs to do just as he did tonight and he will do fine.
Kerry has WON this First Debate with the LARGEST AUDIENCE!

3. as a wanker I once knew said, 'you can't make chicken salad out of
chicken shit'. Bush can't get better. It's all down hill now. All they can do is quit and what would that say? They're stuck. Stupid people, these are. :)

4. The weed will pull out -- something will occur that will
necessitate his withdrawal from the remaining debates.

Rover and Hughes won't let him get beat up again. Babs will put her foot down.

5. I bet Kerry is aware of that, and of the Rovian slime...
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 09:32 PM by Triana
...and the plans he's devising. I'm not saying we should relax or that Kerry should, but I believe Kerry is aware and will prepare accordingly.

Not that he will 'win' or not, just that I feel confident Kerry knows...certainly bu$hit will improve in the next 2 debates and God knows what nasty tricks bu$h's brain (Rove) will pull.

What we can do is continue SLAMMING the media - they ARE THE #1 PROBLEM - and without them bu$hit is toast, and as long as we keep supporting Kerry...

Continue trying to force the friggin media to tell the TRUTH and continue supporting Kerry -- and VOTE and get others to vote - high turnout is our friend!

10. I Hope You're Right
And they will indeed be prepared, and prepared to knock him off balance next time.

But as Buczak said below, next time out, if * can get through without stumbling, we'll be told about his "masterful" performance. And yes, we will need to counter it with the truth.

6. I expect a "pull-out" claiming Kerry "broke the rules"
watch for it tomorrow at about 4:00 PM Eastern

Then watch for a "terra lert" next week.

9. beware the rope a dope.
beware the rope a dope.

If Bush performs a little bit better in the next debates,
it'll be spinned that he won and is presidential.

I think Kerry did great tonight.

11. Bwahahaha!!
I can't wait. I have confidence in Kerry's skill. No matter what happens, it's gonna be bush* (he just lost the capitalization) on that stage, and not Rove.
