He acted Presidential. He gave us facts, stated his positions, and was very presidential and decisive. The Chimp was jumpy, looked stupid, drank water like a fish, and stammered a lot. He merely repeated his talking points again and again, even when they didn't really fit the context of the questions.

If it was the Bush camp's idea to have foreign policy the subject of the first debate, it backfired big time. Bush came across as scripted, fidgety, scared, bored. Kerry crushed him on ALL the issues!

20. An Absolute Ass-Kicking

From the moment Kerry corrected Dear Leader that it was OSAMA BIN LADEN who attacked us and Bush acted like a drunken frat boy annoyed at being turned down by a girl in a bar through the nuclear proliferation questions that were as impressively answered by Kerry as embarassingly non-answered by Chimpy, Kerry simply mopped the floor with Bush.

Bush kept trying, in a nicer way, to call Kerry a flip-flopper -- and truth be told, Kerry could've handled those questions a bit more directly. The problem for Bush is that Kerry doesn't have McGovern's nasal voice, Mondale's eye bags, or Dukakis' doughy-white-guy smile (guess that tan DID pay off!). He simply didn't come off as wishy-washy, so I honestly don't think that those attacks stuck.

In fight terms, Kerry won going away by outpointing Bush in the late rounds.

If this doesn't stoke you, NOTHING will!!!
