I thought it was a draw: Let the flames begin
I love Kerry ... I thought he was fablous, but there was no knock out punch for either side. Kill me.

4. Have you ever even watched a boxing match?
There is more beauty in 10 or 13 rounds of pure pummeling than the sudden orgasm of a quick KO.

5. I can't disagree more strongly.
Bush was clearly unstable and on the defensive the whole time. It was clear when Kerry was speaking that Bush was on the verge of losing his temper.

7. Just because there was no knock out punch
doesn't mean it's a draw.

I'm no Kerry partisan but I felt he far exceeded Bush in his presentation.

The media is propping him up
which means he has a TKO and needs cheating- a long count. The manner of handling the aftermath shows plainly the consensus that it is a major Bush defeat.

Anything more and jerry would have had to leap the podium and slash W's throat to cheering crowds. Knockouts are not possible, but Bush could not possibly have lasted another hour of that punishment. His punches were weak, repeated mindlessly and his practiced memes followed by gaping incoherence.

16. Sorry, you're toast!
I will say that Scrub is great at following a script. His mclosing argument, you could tell, was heavily scripted. It was the only time he didn't stammer or use circular reasoning. Kerry got the KO.

20. A "knockout" wouldn't have served Kerry well at this point...
People for some strange reason like Bush, they don't want to see him knocked out. But, we may convince the morons slowly Bush doesn't deserve to be president.

Kerry was intelligent, articulate, poised, presidental. He went for the jugular. bush was really pathetic. I'd say that was a knock out.

27. Did you actually watch it?
I watched the debates with NO preconceived ideas.. I expected Bush to do well. I was SHOCKED at how badly he did! We just laughed and laughed at his wierd facial expressions, and how he kept chugging water after water, and turning bright red when he got angry.

He repeated the same statements over and over "it's hard work", "gotta have resolve", etc., yet he said nothing at all. He was on the defensive the entire time... Kerry had him on the ropes.

I watched this on CSPAN which was the absolute best! They did full split screen the entire time.. so you could see Bush getting angrier and angrier... I suspect you watched another channel or something, because I was being totally neutral and felt Bush lost.. badly. Even Fox News thought so... Are you one of those people that likes to thinkt that they are somehow so unique that they have to disagree with the others just for the sake of disagreeing? Because I really can't see how anyone that found DU at some point in their lives, could give it up enought for Bush that he'd be tied.. makes no sense. Really.
