2. I like his new invented words.
like, for example, "fociferously."

I realize that no low blows are needed in analyzing this debate. But I couldn't resist.

29. I'm familiar with the word.
But I've never heard it in that context. "Fighting vociferously"? And then there was the "F" he stuck at the front of it.

6. I noticed the same thing
Lately, he's seemed like a car salesman, like he's desperately trying to sell us this war and his economic policy. He sounds very desperate. I swear, the guy's turning into Rumsfeld.

16. Good thing I was drinking at home
I played the Presidential Debate Drinking Game (a tradition at my house) and had to quit when I downed a half a bottle and the debate wasn't nearly over yet.

Bush had too many fillers. Each was worth a drink.

Bush mispronounced names, including Colin Powell's name. Drink.

Blowing your line on your designated sound bite: One drink.

Tying Al Qaeda and Iraq together: Swig the whole glass. I had to do this twice.

It's a tough job but someone's got to do it.

Anyway, I was happy with Kerry's very presidential performance. He was articulate, specific, and knew what he was talking about. Unlike you know who.

President Kerry. I like the sound of that.

And I didn't even have to look at your post to repeat it.

President Kerry did very well. I can't wait for the town hall style debates, I doubt I'll be able to stay sober watching the soon to be Ex Occupant blow it when he can't hide behind a podium.

24. "It's HARD WORK!!!!"
Goddamn, just like Will Farrell on SNL - "Presidentn's HARD!!" It was pathetic the first time, and the fourth & fifth repetitions did not add savor to the flavor.

That, and of course his reference to the evil "Moolahs" of Iran, which was post-modern Zippyesque brillance!!!
