So who was on the other end of *'s earpiece?
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 10:04 PM by LiberalEsto
It was painfully obvious that someone was telling the idiot what to say through that little earpiece.

All those dumb, blank pauses, and then suddenly he'd look up and, oh, now he knew what to say. He took a lot of awfully long pauses.

Was it Rove on the other end? The Dickster?

Also: more of that neuro-linguistic programming. He used the words "hard work," "freedom," and "mixed messages" so many times that I wanted to hurl my cookies.

What the hell does HE know about hard work? The Vacation pResident?

5. The dude (shrubya) was reciting his talking points reasonably smoothly the
1st 50-60 minutes, then it's like his circuitry began to fail or something.

Since the guy repeated a few of the same talking points around 5 times or so ("mixed messages/wrong war wrong time" etc.) I thought Kerry might have missed a golden opportunity to point out how the prez relies on simple talking points, repeated ad nauseum, and how this was fairly represented the type of leadership provided by this admin.

I thought Kerry did a fair to very good job pounding home the essential point that the Iraq war is a disaster that shrubya is responsible for.
