I knew someone who once made the observation that, taking Chicago for example, ethnicity reigns supreme in the south neighborhoods yet as one travels north, to the upper financial strata, the old ethnic traits become less and less defined until you arrive, in, say, Kenilworth where most everyone has a tiny beak, blue eyes, straight hair, etc. Interesting analysis.
