Damn...FOX is being downright HARSH on Bush!!!
I never expected to see this...They are practically rooting for Kerry now...even the repub commentators say Kerry did great and Bush fumbled.

My God....
I don't know what happened over there, but I like it! ;)

8. But Fox (supposedly) has been in Bush's camp
I never really noticed the bias, outside of Oreilly and Hannity...but I know when I watched tonight, every damn commentator they had said Bush has fumbled...They highlighted all of Kerry's points and ignored Shrub's rebuttles...excellent!

28. I noticed it even on regular FAUX news. I'd see the same stories
reported on CNN, MSNBC, and FAUX. Faux sometimes would have a totally different take, would say it in a different way (more positive to Bush), and would sometimes leave parts out. Definitely biased. But still technically news reports.

27. It was the contrast between the two
Dubya can hold his own with the yoohoos, but put him next to an intellect and he's toast

4. What are the other mediawhores saying?
I watched the debate on C-SPAN and the calls there were the predictable mix that always follows any political event. Though the Freepers forcing their 11 year olds to read their scripts on the phone routine is kinda getting old.

7. In spite of their obvious preferences,
FAUX is as sensationalist as any of the media whores.

They want to make sure they keep their audience for the rest of the debates, so they'll allow their candidate to take a bit of a fall now.

Besides, Dumbyass screwed up so royally that if FAUX defended him too much, it'd only make them look stupid.

I just hope Kerry maintains his status quo; and doesn't interpret Dumbyass' blunders as an invitation to underestimate the rethuglican spin-masters.

11. The way this works is that if your guy loses the 1st debate,
you build up the other guy as much as possible so that if your guy even shows up in the 2d and 3d debates, you can hail his spectacular comeback. Wake me up when Fox starts saying, "Bush is incompetent; Kerry should be president."

13. Fox is still the enemy.
But I've noticed that CNN has been whoring harder than them during this election cycle, while Fox has stepped it back ever so slightly. Or maybe it's just that CNN has tried so hard to out right-wing Fox, they've finally succeeded.

Get rid of Hannity and they may really be "fair" and "balanced" for a change.

21. Will Freepers
finally stop calling CNN the "Communist News Network"? Funny if they end up switching places in their minds.

I guess Fox is just trying to be "Fair and Balanced".. they have to concede the defeat, but they definitely haven't surrendered!

25. i agree
i don't trust any of the big media types and am not really paying attention to them.

the fact is that if kerry was like bush was in the debates his campaign would have been declared pretty much over. they would have said how he lost the only chance he had to win .

So what next.
Do we get the October surprise tomorrow?

And what was with the Bush line "We have Bin Laden contained"?
The guy is losing it.
