"They need to make Americans forget what happened tonight"
Scarborough just said it. He was saying that the Republicans need to spin this thing 180 degrees. WOW! I didn't know Scarborough could speak the truth.

1. Karan Hughes was looking disturbed.
She knows her boy lost it tonight. It was written all over her face.

3. When he covered the Democratic Convention
He said that while he was conservative, he thought Kerry did a good job and that he would still be able to sleep at night if Kerry was elected. That may not be much, but it's a hell of a lot better endorsement than you'll ever get from someone at Faux.

4. Wolfie on CNN was desperately trying to detract from Kerry right away
Fortunately CNN had Jeff Greenfield on first right after the debate and he gave Kerry a very positive review. Another commentator also mentioned shrub's huge goof where he said "the enemy attacked us" as justification for preemptive strike against Iraq, and Kerry caught that mistake right away.

6. it was the first ever Pres debate during wartime
and the smirking, "he voted for the war!" (so what?) shit coming from Bush's mouth was an embarrasment. This is why he should be Pres? Gravitas is just lost on the man.

Kerry was brilliant. Obviously "mixed messages" was Bush's "fuzzy math" line this time around, but Kerry twice picked it up and used it against him. He thought on his feet, and made the Bush=liar argument sit up and say "hi mom" into the camera.

The kicker was the quick response to the daughters-on-leash comment. Priceless.
