How many times did Bush blink?

He blinked repeatedly during his closing remarks.

Is he just extra blinky, or is there a deeper meaning to the excessive blinking?

By the way, I'm not crazy about the "he was angry" meme. I prefer: "he's fucking insane."

3. Blink-rate was off the charts from the start

People tend to blink a lot when they are lying or otherwise under stress. I think it gives an uncounsious message of being nervous or unsure of oneself.

The contrast with Kerry, who was soooo totally calm and confident, standing straight and tall, was overwhelming. It just got more and more noticable until about 2/3 of the way through, when it couldn't get any more extreme. Bush saved himself from a total defeat by giving the last scripted remarks.
