Why was bush allowed to break the rules SO many times!?!
He constantly tried to add time to respond to Kerry's response.
The mod. needs to cut his mic.

2. 3 or 4 that I saw...Kerry, unfortunately, never *asked*..just raised his
finger to signal the mod.

Bush got to say a lot more, technically, than Kerry.

3. not to mention when bush addressed kerry directly
in regards to the families, bush broke the rules and made some half-assed crack. if I had one complaint for the debate, it was that kerry let the moderator move on when he wanted to rebut, whereas the moderator gave bush a chance to offer a rebuttal everytime, even when bush didn't ask for one, remember lehrer asked bush if he wanted to respond and bush just looked confused and was like 'what else do you want me to say?'

9. He HAD to speak more than Kerry
Kerry was making his points in the first reply; Bush could tell he was losing points. The reverse was not true for Bush, though; he wasn't effectively countering Kerry's points which is why Kerry rebutted less often.

7. If Kerry had done the same it's all the press would have talked about
Kerry did just great without butting in.

11. What about the time Bush wanted Extra time but it was his NORMAL rebuttal?
That cracked me up!!

Bush was trying to get Lehrer's attention for a 30-second rebuttal but he had his full 90-second rebuttal coming to him!!
