Kerry is ahead, but the election will be taken away from him, and the media will redouble their efforts to trash him.

3. He's in a much better position than he was at 8:59pm EST tonight |
|
It will be interesting to see what the pollers do with their samples to minimize the impact of Kerry's great performance tonight.

4. I wouldn't go so far as to say Kerry won the election tonight, but |
|
he did a lot to put us on the road to victory. Good work in the next two debates (on domestic policy - an area of Democratic advantage) will put it away.

5. Absolutely...If Kerry does as well or better than tonight.. |
|
In the next two, and Dub doesn't MEASURABLY improve over his tragic mumbling and bumbling, Kerry will have smooth sailing, no matter what Gallup tries to tell us!:eyes:
I expect Dub to do somewhat better in the next, town-hall format (unless, of course, he pulls out another "why should I care what you think?" line!:eyes: ). But Kerry can still take him, because Dub has no realistic way to defend his record. If he can't do it on "terra", how could he do it on an economy HE caused to tank?
The door is now wide open--for Kerry. All he needs to do is 1) walk tall through it, and 2) SLAM IT SHUT!:D
:kick:

10. I think Kerry's made progress |
|
I expect most of the polls to be even or favoring Kerry by next week. But we still have a lot of work to do.

Shrub lost it tonight. He demonstrated how unfit he is for the office.
And if Scalia steals it again, America is over.
