Please read! A non-political board I moderate had this post tonight!
Edited on Thu Sep-30-04 11:01 PM by Lex
.
Here it is, from a non-political poster who posted on a "Presidential Debate" thread on the mostly non-political board:

-------------------------

"Okay, I have totally stayed out of politics here and elsewhere...but I've got to say that Kerry really impressed me tonight. I thought he was very clear in his answers, and I had no doubt what his stand is. The president, however, did indeed look like Lifeform said "a deer in headlights", which was exactly the term I used to describe him to my son when I picked him up from work. (before I read this thread) Also, didn't it look like he kept shrinking during the debate? Like his neck kept getting shorter and shorter until his head was right on his shoulders, but looked too big for his shoulders?

The president kept repeating the same few things over and over. I can't wait to hear what he has to say about health care.

Thank God for these debates or I might've made a hideous mistake at the polls.

----------------------

Whoa!

5. Anyone really think after tonight that bush* will debate
Kerry again? Bet he backs out of the remaining debates after the smack down he got from Kerry.

8. He's backed himself into a corner now. If he backs out he look "yaller"
and like a total coward.

6. Hope springs eternal...
I should like to think the media has had enough with this heavy-handed administration and will, at the last, show who it is that ultimately controls image.

(of course, this could lead to other probs... but at least there's hope for now...)

9. Carlos Watson on CNN said even more people will tune in to 2nd debate
Kerry was so great at outlining his plans, and Chimpy so pitiful, that consensus of talking heads seems to be that unlike most previous elections, even more people will tune in to watch the show next time! Especially with domestic issues on the agenda. YeeeeeeeHaaaaaa!!!!

10. 3rd debate will be the knock out punch!
Kerry will finish Chimp off in that one. If he did this poorly on the one thing some think is his only strength... he is in deep shit!

Bring on those next two debates!
