as an old NCAA pitcher, i never cared about the homerun - generally they dont decide that many games - they're flukes....

but the solid doubles, and singles - the times when the opposing team is just hitting the ball really really hard in places the defenders ain't, thats when you're in trouble, when you're done, your arm is tired, your gas tank is low.

bush's tank is on E, and has been for a while - its just that we needed to wait 4 years to properly tell the bastard that he was out of his league - he was playing single A ball in the majors (AAAA), and his backwoods shit just doesnt work. hell, he plays D ball, and because of who his dad was, people tell him he's good enough to play in the "show".
